Hey there peeps. As you all can notice, I changed my skin. Its about time for a change hehe. I doubt the skin works well in firefox, haven't try yet. To those that find any problem with the skin, please do tell me.
Putting that aside, it has been about one week since I last posted. In this one week, campcraft comp training started. We did quite a lot of stuff and the team needs a lot of practice. It wasn't very interesting, it wasn't very boring too. Learnt a lot of stuff, theory and practical. We needed to work as a team, well, it seems hard at times. There were conflicts and arguments between us. We must put those things aside, best to forget it, just kiss and make up, but it isn't so easy. Some people's ego are just too fucked up at times. But a team has to be able to tolerate. I really hope we get into the finals. It has always been my dream after watching the 28th batch getting top10. I was there during the prelims when I was still a little sec1 kid. Yeap, the finals, that's our goal. Nevertheless, want and can is two different things. So I hope everyone in the team, including myself would train hard to achieve that goal as a team.
Damn, so many trainings is a good thing to train, it is also a bad thing as I can't get back to Malaysia eventhough its the holidays now.zzz. nevermind. I can go back during the weekends. Hopefully, I can make it for the class gathering.

sec2 atc 2007.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Area 4 Adventure Training Camp in Pulau Ubin. Camp Resilience they called it.
Day 1
We met in school at around 1040. Almost the whole squad went to eat breakfast in the Bishan North there before going to school. Hehe, seems like our squad is getting more united xP. Anyways, after we fall in, we sat and the sirs taught us some new campfire songs and revised the old ones we know. After that, we boarded a bus to the Changi Jetty. Then we took the bumbleboat to Ubin. Man, I've been there just a week ago for the hike. Then we walked to the campsite somewhere near Noordin Beach. Just when we reached, we were told that we were late. Dumbfounded, we hurried and fall in with the rest. The first activity was actually tent pitching. For the first time, I saw the other schools people doing what we were doing during training. The CIs were very strict, keep shouting to us to hurry up. My tent compromises me and ryan, two kcps, one bpss and one ri. Luckily there was ryan :). Or else i doubt the tent would stand. I think our tent was the nicest in the whole tentage area haha. The tentage area was full of rocks, and pegging was hard to complete. But I didn't complain. After tent pitching, we played some ice breaker games and learnt some basic survival skills which was already needed in the hike last week. There was unit debrief before lights out, with yanhao sir saying something that was missing in us for teh first day. I think what he said motivated us as the second day was way better. Day 1 went by fast, after some games. Night sentry was up, luckily my shift was 1pm-2pm or else I would be sleep walking.
Day 2
The fire drill started the day and set the tone for today. Do everything with a sense of urgency. However it was seriously lacking in some people. Breakfast came after morning physical training. I like to cook, not joking. Enjoyed lighting up the solid fuels but people doesn't appreciate what I did. Took the stove without saying anything and it pissed me off a lot. Kayaking came next. Two man kayak. Argh i hate two man kayaks, slow and need to coordinate movements, but that's the most important lesson they want us to learn. The kayak keep drifting as I kept telling the joker which side to sweep but he has some hearing difficulties or problems understanding me. Paddling in Ubin waters is weird, way different from Changi as the water seems easier to paddle as if there wasn't any resistance. And the water stinks, wihch made it impossible for me to wash my face. I like to wash my face during kayaking, freshens me up hehe. Washed up and lunched, then came ATF. The second cycle required us to do rock climbing, low ropes and a maze which is completely pitch black. Unfortunately there was lightning and we didn't manage to do rock wall and low ropes. Damn, I never climbed a man made rock wall in my life before...The maze was completely black, full of obstacles that needed the people in there to coordinate the movements and inform each other of the incoming obstacles. ATF time was boring due to the lack of activity. After that, we washed up and dinner. Nightime Campfire time. The skits were mainly funny. The campfire was fun and interesting, especially the performance by the instrutors/officers. Initiative games was next. Then lights out, luckily no fire drill or sentry duty.
Day 3
Final day, morning pt then unpitching of tents. Sleeping in tents was a great experience. Very cold, so close to nature. Then it was area cleaning. Cleaning of tent sheets. Communication was important. Break camp was near when we changed to the Noordin Campsite. Prize Presentation! Best Motivator awards wasn't fair I guess, but nevermind forget it. The important thing is ruijie clinched the best camper award. Everyone thought it was gonna be sebas but it turned out the other way. I do hope sebas won't feel bad, because he seemed sad and disapppointed after that. Nevermind, at least CHSNPCC proved its point to everyone. After break camp, we took squad photos and did the unit cheer. Then we walked back to the jetty and bade goodbye to the ATC.

linkinpark concert.

131107! Linkin Park came to the Singapore Indoor Stadium! sq, kenneth, edison and me met in city hall before going there. We had our dinner somewhere in food junction. My rashes/ itchy spots were a pain in the ass that annoyed me a lot. But luckily i went to see the doctor earlier that day or else it would have worsen i guess. Guess that the cream helped a lot! Anyways, After having dinner and looking around in HMV, we cabbed to the Singapore Indoor Stadium. When we reached there, we saw a very long queue for the free standing tickets. Damn, there was really a lot of people queuing up.
We found the north entrance, went in and found our seats, which I realised it was kinda far from the stage. I regretted for a moment but felt lucky that I managed to attend this concert. The show was suppose to start at 2000, but it started at around 2100. The seats were filled if I'm not wrong and there was a lot of people in the free standing places. The show started with the song "Given Up". Then a lot of songs came one after another. The crowd was suppeerrr high, including me! After all, it was my first time attending a linkinpark concert. Managed to sing out the lyrics of every song they played. After the song "Faint", I thought the show ended. But after chants of "we want more" by the crowd, the band came back with three songs if I'm not wrong. In The End, a song that I've forgotten and Bleed It Out. Hehe, the show was very nice. The lights were also fantastic. Among so many songs, I must say I love every single of them. :D I do hope they would come to Singapore and perform next time, and I'm sure I will grab the free standing tickets.
151107! Went to cineleisure to watch the Bee Movie. Before we did that, sq, ccw, merv, edison and me went to the HMV in orchard there to see something. Chekwei bought a S.H.E album whereas I bought the Eagles album for my dad. The movie was pretty nice, especially the dialogues. The dialogues were pretty funny.
Ahh, ATC tomorrow, I haven't even pack my bags yet. I hope it will turn out to be a fun but not so slack camp.

hike + oal camp.

Today's the annual hike 2007 in Pulau Ubin! I was in this group called "My Chemical Romance". Definitely not the group name I wanted but I wasn't there during the hike briefing due to OALcamp, which i will talk about it later. The name was pretty long, thus reporting of strength left me tongue tied at times. Thinking of a cheer together with yongkang was also hard. Luckily, we never had to report in chinese, or else i doubt i could find a translation for the name.
Anyways, we set off from school at around 0730. The weird thing is we took a chartered bus to Changi. Talk about welfare haha. We took public transport to Changi last year lolz. Took around half an hour, we reached Changi at around 8am+. Then, we fall in in front of the flagpole of Changi Jetty. We were given time to eat breakfast until 0930. After that, we set off to Pulau Ubin.
The worst thing i could probably thought of before setting off to Pulau Ubin was getting pump in the jetty. This thought occured as one of my group members wore black bermudas instead of black track pants. Imagine him wearing that in ATC, that's porbably gg for him. Guess that the CI became kind and settled the problem without me or yongkang, the in-charge and assistant in-charge, getting punished.
Back to the main point, we reached Ubin and fall in at the basketball court. There, we chose our first destination and took a looong time to find its bearing before we set off. After that, we went to around three checkpoints including the first one. We had to forfeit the third checkpoint's task in order to get to Noordin beach on time as it was a special task station. In the end, the trip to Noordin was fruitless as we didn't manage to win that station. We put that aside and pack up to go to the next checkpoint, and the second last checkpoint if Maamam Beach was the last checkpoint.
Well, this was the part where people screw up for some unknown and unexplained reason. I do not to wish anyone's names or what, but seriously, when I'm typing this, I do wish to whack those people. Before we set off, I've already told them to walk in twos, for fuck's sake, I've said that walk in twos for numerous times, and the bunch of them still do not know how to listen to instructions. Maybe I was like that during secondary1, I apologise here, on my ignorance, assuming I'm good or whatever reasons you want to say. But still, I'm sure that I've at least never heard my sec1 ic shouting continuously to get us in twos. Everyhting was automatically, we walked in twos without much reminders needed. That was, if I'm not wrong, unless my memory fails me. Back to present, this is completely different. Throughout the whole hike, the group rarely ran, as I was afraid there would be people unable to catch up, which was true as I noticed some people's face getting pale as time passed.
Forget about that part, pm me on msn if you're interested in my frustration. Another point, they can't shout. Afraid to exxagerate your voacal chords? I do not know and simply can't find a reason. Besides that, it seems like SOME, not all of them do not know how to listen to simple instructions like gather in a circle and listen while somebody is talking, in the end he doesn't know anything. Fuckk. And it seemed like my fault. Now I know how hard it is to be an in-charge.
Maybe they don't respect me? Then too bad, they're gonna get it from me. Seems like everything I said they do not listen. I look like a slacker, hanwen told me once, I agree at times too. But I simply do not know how to look serious. The serious face just isn't present. Maybe you need a serious and enthusiastic face to command respect. sigh.
Anyways, after much struggling with the hike, we managed to clinch the best cheer award! Credits to yongkang for thinking of the cheer.
I've said enough already. Lazy to blog about OAL camp. Go check it out on chekwei's blog if you wanna know.

oal camp coming.

Tomorrow's the dreaded OAL camp. Not that I hate being an OAL, just that I've always dislike camps. A lot of reasons why i hate camps. A 3days2nights camp means three days without computer, without any games, without any snacks or food that I like, without much rest, without any freedom, without a good night's sleep and without the feeling of HOME.
Tomorrow's the day, I haven't even started packing. Seems like there's too much things to bring along, too little space in my darn bag.Hope i get to know more friends, I've lost enough friends this two weeks.

zz.

Can't believe it, Thursday and Friday training almost killed me. Drills part was okay, practising of ICE and revision. Learnt map reading and some advanced knots for the upcoming promotion test and annual hike! PT was the part that almost killed me. 100push ups was alright...after such a long hiatus from doing so many push ups. 20 leg raise was so hard to do...Running 10rounds killed my stamina, with stitch/stomach cramp coming out along the way. This is bad, totally. Need to train a lot as annual camp + atc is coming.
Heard a bad news from chekwei today. Something about a friend branding those who opted out from triple science "cowards". What the fuck is wrong with opting for or out for triple science. Is the world gonna crumble if anyone's opting out of triple science. Is there a need to call people "cowards". Is our friendship so fragile? One triple science decision everyone fucked up. Maybe my human relationships suck, too much insulting fo him until he can't take it. Alright, sorry for calling you names before. I feel bad now, after losing like two friends in around one week. Oh ya,he never talk to me eversince the streaming results came out, just because i was into double science? Fuckk.

one week.

Monday

went to play LAN with sq, jj, sebas, gc, gc's cousin, edi, his friend and bentley. Quite fun after sometime no LAN. hehe, luckily never got trashed much. Managed to get some kills :D.
Tuesday

Went to play bowling somewhere near kovan. Managed to get 3/4 strikes in one game :D. That's my best record so far lolz. Spent more than 10bucks that day. zz, no more money for the holidays.

This holiday seems packed, with a lot of activities. OAL camp coming, hopefully it would be fun. I hate camps...need to stay there for three days. BORING! Its not any holiday chalet too lolz. Then there's ATC...then annual camp...with loads of trainings. Maybe its better than rotting in front of my computer?

Streaming results came out...pretty kelong like what edmund said? Haha. Anyways, good luck to those taking three sciences, two sciences or whatever your subject combination is.
CLASS CHALET 21st-22nd NOVEMBER.
I CAN'T WAIT FOR LINKIN PARK CONCERT!
