City Venture 2007

City Venture 2007!
Gathered in school at around 7 am. There was a short briefing and then ushering of participants to the lecture threatrette for a briefing for them. At round 9 am the games really begin.
The school i took was kcp and the another gamemaster for this team is kae luen sir. I must say that kcp is really an interesting team lolz. They like to make some noise and sometimes encouraging each others to run. In the begining they chiong to the mrt station. As game masters we had to follow them as well, so if they ran we also ran.
Their first checkpoint was toa payoh swimming complex. For the picture task, it took them quite a long time to find it. KaeLuen sir and me had to keep reminding them that it is not outside of the swimming complex or else i wonder where would they had wander off to. As for the word question, the answer was straightforward. A very nice sentence i heard from KaeLuen sir: sometimes, asking other people is a bad thing. lolz because they keep getting the wrong answers from people they asked for the picture task.
Second Checkpoint: Velocity. First time i been there since it changed its name. It was novena square last time i think. For this checkpoint it was a breeze. They got off to quite a good start.
Thrid Checkpoint: Yishun SAFRA. like the name suggest they went to yishun just to find out that it is nearer to khatib lolz. Had to take bus there and waiting for the bus wasted quite a lot of time. they decided not to eat lunch and bought some old chang kee snacks along the way. For the word question, they keep guessing the wrong answers. Luckily they got it correct in their thrid and last try.
Fourth Checkpoint: Sembawang Park. It was awfully faraway and kinda secluded. All the tasks were easy to complete but wating for the bus was again the most frustrating part. Wasted a lot of time again during the travelling process.
Fifth Checkpoint: Cdans Country Club. It was near bukit gombak and bukit batok. No one really noticed that it has changed its name lolz. Anyways, we had to run quite some distnace to reach there since the team decided to go for the bonus checkpoint. Everything quite quite straightfoward too. Finding the answers wasnt a difficult part either.
Sixth and Last checkpoint: Jalan Besar Stadium. Wasted alot of time here. sad.
Got seventh. Quite disappointed never mind. I really enjoyed the whole City Venture and it is fun!
