oh great i just typd a long essay but somehow the bloddy draft didn't save. okay just to summarise.
I find that the camp was seriously disappointing. I was very disappointed with my groupmates as what they were showing was that they really don't care and what they do were seriously throwing the face of their squadleaders. Simple things like don't fidget and move when fall in, sense of urgency, listening to instructions, respecting your seniors and sirs, don't argue bargain complain demand - people just can't seem to understand. Yes, I may not be the best ic there is out there, but at least I know that I'm not. I don't walk around with swagger and stuff. Eat some humble pie for a change. And reply the one asking you a question or something, cause no reply is no respect and no respect is your hands touch the ground the next moment you know.
Do everything with enthusiasism and shout like there's no tomorrow. My group was seriously lacking enthusiasism and I can't figure out how to motivate them. Because talking nicely to them won't work and shouting at them won't work because they just don't listen to you. I find it rather frustrating when people don't listen to you and now I know how it feels. Back to the same point, they don't listen is no respect and no respect is your hands touching the ground the next moment you know.
I don't understand why people can't stay in twos all the time and they are so lazy that they always drag their feet when they walk. The sound doens't sound nice to me. And walking in twos doesn't seem so hard to me. Its about time you guys wake up and know that the fairytale ended and welcome back to the real world.
So what if you speak fluet english. so what if you can do 200pushups. so what if you're the supposedly best in the squad. so what if you talk a lot. In this camp, everybody is equal so don't expect special treatment. You don't walk, you don't slack. Do everything with sense of urgency, a basic thing yet people are lacking. Because if you don't do it with sense of urgency, it shows what kind of people you are -- someone who just thrown the face of your mentor.
Just a rant, I've unloaded more stuff among my squadmates after a sharing session. I may have commited these mistakes before and I'm sure I did. But at least I changed, for the better.
